Shoe Drive

The Odyssey Associated Student Body (ASB) is working hard collecting shoes as part of our service project and fundraiser. We have partnered with an organization called Funds2org that specializes in creating fundraisers for organizations that in turn also benefit people living in developing countries. This particular fundraiser collects shoes that are then refurbished and sold by individuals in these developing countries to build micro-economies.

Our goal is to collect enough new to gently worn shoes to fill 300 garbage sized bags. This may seem like a lofty goal, but if we work together we can definitely meet it. We are encouraging you to donate gently used shoes and help spread the word!

The drive is accepting new & slightly used shoes from students, teachers, families, and community members from now through February 13th, 2020.

The ASB will be setting a collection bin outside of the Odyssey doors and at Camas Library for drop offs. If you have a student at Odyssey, you can send the shoes in with your kiddo. We have a collection space in the Penny Arcade right now that we hope to fill up!

Our plan is to use the money we collect to help supply additional resources to our Odd Box. These supplies are available to all students and teachers for project use.
